About Oxana

Oxana has been playing violin for 25 years. Prominent teachers in her training included Ewa Bujak, Anna Cromwell, and Sally O’Reilly at the University of Minnesota. Oxana is a member of the Dakota Valley Symphony and performs with two church orchestras. She has held the position of first violin in a Broadway style performance of Frozen at a community theater pit orchestra. She has previously performed with the Minnesota Youth Symphonies at Orchestra Hall as first chair.

Coming from a musical family where her dad is a sound engineer/pianist and mom a part-time singer, she began tinkering on the piano at an early age. She grew up being exposed to doing sound and performances for weddings and events and carries on this legacy.
